This award was presented to Curragh Carpets in recognition of the many different ways the company has always been willing to help the community both in business terms, and with their participation in local community initiatives. As our contribution to Newbridge Chambers Corporate Social Responsibility initiative Curragh Carpets accepted a large array of books collected in the Newbridge area, at our Green Road facility, sorted and graded them, and delivered the books to Book Aid International for use in Sub Saharan Africa literacy projects. The Passion for the World Around Us Awards recognise and reward individuals and businesses who make an effort to improve their local communities.
